The Next Bicycle Insignia Deck

Hello Sig Fam! It’s been a long time since our last update. In the past year we had to switch focus in our shop in a major way. From the moment we had our grand opening up until we had to close due to COVID, our main focus was live entertainment in our 30-seat theater.
Once COVID hit, we switched our focus to becoming the best quarantined magic shop we could be, which included rebuilding our entire website and trying our best to bring the brick & mortar experience to the internet. That’s why our website is www.brickandmortarmagic.com
Whether you shop with us online or in person, we want you to have the same amazing experience either way and only purchase products that you’re going to love. Thanks to many of you the business has been thriving, and we can’t express our gratitude enough.
Our shop is open for in-person shopping with limited capacity, so please do feel free to stop by next time you’re in New Albany, Indiana. We also hope to resume our live magic shows later this year.
Speaking of later this year… we have been working on a new version of Insignias that we think you’re going to love. I can’t say too much about it yet, because we want to get the thumbs-up from US Playing Card first. If all goes well, we will launch a new campaign within the next couple of months.

If that’s not enough for you, my good buddy Ryan Schlutz has just recently launched his first deck campaign. Ryan is no stranger to making great products, having made several amazing books & DVDs over the years, as well as two previous versions of his False Anchors playing cards.
The False Anchors V3 campaign was funded in under 24 hours, so you know these decks are going to be a thing that you can hold in your hands. There are two awesome versions, both with an absolutely killer and creative marking system. There are also gilded editions and other cool things you can check out to add-on.
If you know me, you know that my mantra is “Make cool shit”. My second mantra is “Support people who make cool shit”. Ryan has been making cool shit for years, and these decks are just the latest and coolest (but not shittiest) of his cool shit. So please support his campaign and tell Ryan that Brent sent you. It won’t save you any money, but he’ll know that I have his back.

Early Bird Specials Ending Soon Bicycle Insignia Playing Cards

At noon yesterday we launched a campaign for Bicycle Insignias in Red and Blue. After only the first 24 hours we are 65% funded. We wanted to make sure everyone knew that the Early Bird pricing only lasts for another 24 hours so don't miss your chance!
For those who have already pledged, thank you so much for your support. Unfortunately we aren't yet over the finish line. We need you to help us get the word out so we can makes sure these go to print. It's been a little while since the last update on the Insignia project so I wanted to say hello to all of you lovely people and give you some news.
Fulfillment was completed a few weeks ago. There might still be a few international packages still in transit, but we trust that the majority of you have gotten your packages and are enjoying your cards.
The Black and White decks turned out great. I hope you're all enjoying the tricks that I sent out in the last update. If you need to pick up more decks, you can get them directly from me at J&B Magic in New Albany, Indiana or from my website here: https://themagicfirm.bigcartel.com/product/bicycle-insignia-decks
The decks are also now available from magic dealers worldwide via Murphy's Magic Supplies. You can pick them up from Penguin Magic, who produced a lot of my magic material, or your favorite shop.
As most of you know, we had stretch goals during this campaign for extra colors that we didn't quite reach. I'm excited to say that we will launch a new campaign in ONE WEEK on Tuesday December 3rd at 12:00PM (Noon) EST. It will be a short campaign, running less than 2 weeks. It will be for the RED and BLUE versions of Insignia.
