Bicycle Insignia Back Playing Cards

Fulfillment complete, the video, and getting more decks

It has been awesome to see the Bicycle Insignia decks in peoples hands. Fulfillment is complete as of last week. A lot of you have gotten your decks. Keep posting photos! International packages will take a little longer but will be landing soon.

Some people have asked about the video for the gaff cards. Because the decks were done early, I haven'd had a chance to get the video finished yet between travel obligations and getting knocked down by the flu. I should have the video done within the next 1-2 weeks. Once it is done, another update will go out so that everybody can access the instructions.

The decks will be available through Murphy's Magic in the near future also so you'll be able to pick them up from your favorite magic shop.

Insignias are hitting the road!

Insignia backers! Thank you all for your support and your patience as we put together this awesome campaign.

As you know from the last update, we just had to do a short wait while our fulfillment partner handled a couple of convention commitments. He is now back at his home base after doing the conventions, so I'm happy to report that the fulfillment on the decks has begun today!

It will probably take about a week, give or take, to get everybody's order shipped out. You should receive tracking when your order ships, but don't panic if you don't receive yours within the next day or two. We'll be getting the fulfillment done as quick as we can.

Once you receive your decks, I'd love to see what you're doing with them. So please follow me on Instagram (@brentbraunmagic) and use the hashtag #bicycleinsignia to make sure I see your photos.

We'll send out another update once all of the packages have shipped. Otherwise, there are still a few people who haven't done their surveys, so we can't ship their decks out yet. If you think you haven't done your survey yet and need to double-check, send over a message and we'll get you squared away.

Production is complete on some AMAZING cards!

You guys are going to be so glad you backed this campaign. We got some great news from USPC a couple of days ago that the Insignia decks finished production ahead of schedule! We went and picked up a handful of decks to check them out since I only live about an hour from the factory. I am happy to say that the cards are INCREDIBLE. The look and feel are spot on. I seriously can’t put them down. I'm including a few phone snapshots of the finished decks for now. We'll do some nice "glamour shots" soon.

The main batch has also now been picked up and situated with our fulfillment partner. Because the decks came in ahead of schedule, we are still on track to ship decks to backers in the 2nd half of October. Our fulfillment partner was already scheduled to be on the road for the back-to-back Genii and 52 Plus Joker conventions. As soon as he is back from those events, the pledge packages will start shipping out immediately. We estimate that it will take about 4-5 business days for that process. I’ll send out another update when those packages start going out. It won’t be long now!

If anyone is in or around New Albany, Indiana and would like to pick up your decks directly from me personally, you can stop by J&B Magic shop and we’ll get you hooked up!

I also want to note that Dave Hofmeister, who is doing our fulfillment, will have a small handful of decks at the two conventions he’s attending. It’s just sort of dumb luck that the timing worked out that way. It is a priority for us that backers get their decks before any other shops. Aside from the exceptions of my own shop having them, and our fulfillment partner having them, all backers will get their Insignia decks long before they hit the retail shops at any kind of scale.

Soon I'll be filming the instructional video to go along with the decks and will make sure it's available to everyone who pledged.

It’s really been incredible, educational, and exciting to be on this first Kickstarter journey with all of you. Thanks to your support we made an amazing product and have a truckload of ideas for the future. Thank you all so much.

Final Survey Lockdown on MONDAY

The excitement is growing! Insignia decks are getting closer all the time!

Production of the Insignia Back decks is on track at USPCC. Right now we're in that fun waiting game phase of the process.

Almost everyone has finished their survey. If you think you might be one of the 31 people who hasn't please send us a message and we'll get it sorted out. Otherwise most surveys have been locked down for items/orders as announced in our earlier update. We'll be doing the final address lockdown and charging cards (where applicable) on MONDAY. If you need to make updates to your shipping information, now is the time to do so.

This will let us send over all of the shipping info to our fulfillment partner so that they can begin preparing everything on their end in order to begin sending decks out to everyone right away once the cards arrive. Right now we expect to begin fulfillment in late October, right on schedule.

Otherwise, things have been going great with our new live shows over at J&B Magic. We've been selling out the room like crazy! We hope you will all stop by whenever you are in New Albany!

We wouldn't be here without the support you all have shown us, and we are super grateful.

J&B Ribbon Cutting!

Hello Insignia Backers. I wanted to check in with everybody and send out a short update.

As noted in our last update, the contract and payment have been sent in to US Playing Card so now we just wait patiently for the decks to be printed.

SURVEYS

Most of you have filled out your BackerKit survey. If you know you have already done your survey, skip ahead.

There are a few dozen people who have not done their survey yet. If you know you haven’t filled yours out yet, haven’t gotten your link, or just aren’t sure you can send us a message here on Kickstarter and we’ll get you squared away.

It is vital that everybody do their survey, because this is how you send us your address. Without your survey, we can’t ship your decks!

LOCKDOWN

Right now, you can still make changes to your survey for your items as well as your address. We’ll lock down the item side of the surveys around the beginning of September. So if you want to add more decks, a shirt, or an uncut sheet you have the rest of this month to do so.

We will leave the surveys open for address changes until mid-September. After that, addresses will be locked so that our fulfillment partner can begin to prepare everything so that packages can begin going out ASAP once the decks come in.

J&B RIBBON CUTTING TODAY!

Thanks to your help we launched the magic shop side of J&B and have kept the doors open for a month. So we are going to call that a success and actually cut the ribbon today. We will also be opening the theater and doing our first official shows all weekend long.

We couldn’t have done this without your help and support. You all really are amazing and we can’t wait to get these cards in your hands. In the meantime we wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you helping us make Better Magic.
